COOLING - AIR CONDITIONING - SEATTLE, WA

Home Cooling and Air Conditioning

"There are many system variations, but depending on which part of the country you live in, and the construction of your house, some may be more appropriate for your comfort needs. The most common configuration is called a split system because it requires both an outdoor unit and a unit inside your home. Typically, a split system is composed of an air conditioner, furnace and coil, or a heat pump and air handler. Or it may use a heat pump and furnace, or even an air conditioner and air handler. The opposite of a split system is a packaged unit. Instead of an outdoor unit and an indoor unit, all system components are housed in a single cabinet." - American Standard's Website

The climate of the northwest is by far the best in the country, however it does have its share of downsides. Our environment seems to be a haven for molds and bacteria which inevitably leads sinus and respiratory issues.

Second Wind has introduced a new technology to combat allergens and the like by using ultraviolet germicidal light. Their systems are top notch and I higly recommend them for any household where allergies or respiratory problems are ever an issue.
